class langchain_community.document_loaders.slack_directory.SlackDirectoryLoader(zip_path: str, workspace_url: Optional[str] = None)[source]¶

Load from a Slack directory dump.

Initialize the SlackDirectoryLoader.

Parameters

  • zip_path (str) – The path to the Slack directory dump zip file.

  • workspace_url (Optional[str]) – The Slack workspace URL. Including the URL will turn sources into links. Defaults to None.

load_and_split(text_splitter: Optional[TextSplitter] = None) → List[Document]¶

Load Documents and split into chunks. Chunks are returned as Documents.

Do not override this method. It should be considered to be deprecated!

Parameters

text_splitter (Optional[TextSplitter]) – TextSplitter instance to use for splitting documents. Defaults to RecursiveCharacterTextSplitter.

Returns

List of Documents.

Return type

List[Document]
